Bhubaneswar-headquartered central public sector unit — Nalco — has said that it has renewed its fuel supply agreement with Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd for another five years until 2018.
Under the agreement, Mahanadi Coalfields, a subsidiary of Coal India Ltd, will supply of 47.16 lakh tonnes of coal to the aluminum producer’s captive power plant at Angul and 8,73,324 tonnes for its steam-cum-power generation plant at Damanjodi in Koraput district in Odisha.
