Natco Pharma Ltd has temporarily suspended operations at its Active Pharmaceuticals Ingredients (APIs) plant in Chennai on account of floods caused by incessant rains.
In a press release issued here on Wednesday, the Hyderabad-based company said: " The company believes that this temporary shutdown should not impact or impair its pipeline launches from the plant.’’
Natco Pharma’s scrip lost 1.41 per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange on Wednesday to end at Rs 516.85.
