Public entity NBCC (India) Ltd has got an order worth Rs 250 crore from Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) for the construction of Ispat Post-Graduate Medical Institute and Super-Speciality Hospital at Rourkela Steel Plant in Rourkela.
The proposed hospital would have 156 beds accommodating super-specialities like cardiology, cardiac surgery, neurology and nephrology. NBCC will plan and design the building as a ‘Steel Intensive’ structure and execute the works as a project nanagement consultant using green and energy-efficient technologies.
Anoop Kumar Mittal, Chairman-cum-Managing Director of NBCC, said, “We have extensive experience in delivering world-class educational and healthcare facilities across the country.
