State-run National Buildings Construction Corporation Ltd (NBCC) today posted a 22 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 60.05 crore for the second quarter ended on September 30, on account of higher income.
The company had clocked a net profit of Rs 49.20 crore in the same quarter last year.
Total income during July-September period increased to Rs 865.82 crore from Rs 649.84 crore in the same period last year, the company said in a BSE filing.
NBCC is a mini ratna company under the Ministry of Urban Development with operations in three main segments; project management consultancy (PMC), real estate development and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract.
NBCC is designated as the implementing agency for executing projects under Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM), Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna (PMGSY), Solid Waste Management (SWM) and developmental work in North Eastern Region.
