NCC Limited (NCC) has posted a profit of ₹125.65 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2018 as against a profit of ₹20.30 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal on a standalone basis.
The net profit increased by five times over the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The Hyderabad-based construction company has reported a total income of ₹3,137.88 crore (including other income) for the second quarter as against ₹1342.36 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, resulting a growth of 134 per cent.
On consolidation basis, the company has reported a turnover of ₹3,261.93 crore for the second quarter of the current year as against ₹1,536.73 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, resulting an increase of 112 per cent.
The net profit for the second quarter was up at ₹122.55 crore as against a loss of ₹2.89 crore, respectively in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. In the first six months of the current year, the company secured orders aggregating ₹8359 crore and the company has given adjustment to an extent of ₹1,039 crore for old orders.
The Order Book of the company was up at ₹32,955 crore at the end of second quarter, according to A.Ranga Raju, Managing Director of NCC.
