NCC Limited has posted a lower profit of Rs 63.71 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2017 as against a profit of Rs 86.22 crore for the corresponding quarter last year on a standalone basis.
The turnover of the Hyderabad-based construction company for the quarter was lower at Rs 2187 crore as against Rs 2529 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Overall the company reported a turnover of Rs 8032 crore for the financial year 2016-17 as against Rs 8549 crore in the previous year. Its net profit was lower at Rs 225.50 crore as against Rs240.17 crore in the previous year.
Consolidated
The company has achieved a profit of Rs 31.68 crore and turnover of Rs 9204 crore for the year ended March 31, 2017 as against a profit of Rs 120.43 crore and turnover of Rs 9660 crore in the previous year on a consolidated basis.
During the year, the company secured orders of Rs 9226 crore and the order book of the company stood at Rs 18,088 crore as on march 2017.
The Board of Directors recommended equity dividend of 20 per cent (Rs 0.40 per share of Rs 2 each) on the paid up capital of Rs 111.19 crore, according to a statement from A Ranga Raju,Managing Director of NCC Limited.
