NCC Urban, along with its joint venture partner Avant, a German manufacturer of interior solutions, has expanded its presence and reach of its range of products into the North Indian market.

After making progress in southern and western regions, the venture is tapping North India with its product range.

Avant is a member of the Avant Holding GmbH and NCC Urban is a subsidiary of the Hyderabad-based construction and infrastructure company NCC Ltd.

The expansion will see Avant’s interior solutions for commercial and domestic sectors foray into the untapped markets of Delhi and other north Indian regions. The venture sees potential for revenue growth.

N.R. Alluri, Managing Director of NCC Urban, in a statement said, “With the agreement to stock and market these avant-garde products, we are committed to the Indian market for the long-term. We plan to grow our business, expanding our presence into new markets.”

Philip Mazloumian, Director of Marketing at Avant, said, “We are excited to see the partnership with NCC Urban expanding to the potential and markets in India. This will help us showcase Avant’s flooring, roofing, ceiling and wall-panelling product across the northern parts of India. Together, we offer eco-friendly solutions to consumers.”

“Our aim is to create a niche for our products in different parts of the country; providing interior solutions of the finest international quality standards,” he added.

The Avant portfolio of products come packed with quality laminate composite panels made with German technology. These products have been utilised in leading hotel chains, residences, restaurants, resorts, yachts, cruise-ships and hospitals.

These products have insulating qualities that hold the potential to reduce electricity costs by up to 25 per cent, resulting in lower carbon emissions. The flooring panels are 100 per cent waterproof and are designed to have a natural look and feel.
