Nectar Lifesciences has said its standalone net profit rose 19.53 per cent to Rs 31.82 crore during the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2011.
The net profit stood at Rs 26.62 crore in the corresponding period previous fiscal, Nectar Lifesciences said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
During the quarter under review, net sales rose to Rs 338.81 crore from Rs 241.66 crore during the same period last fiscal.
Standalone net profit of the company for the financial year ended March 31, 2011 stood at Rs 101.87 crore compared with Rs 91.97 crore in the previous fiscal. During the fiscal, the net sales were up at at Rs 1,056.22 crore (Rs 845.79 crore).
The scrip today closed at Rs 27.05 on the BSE, up 2.08 per cent from its previous close.
