Snapdeal on Friday said about 70,000 units of Nestlé’s Maggi Hot Heads were sold out within four hours of an exclusive online preview sale.
Earlier this week, Nestle India said it was launching its new spicy flavours under the sub-brand Hot Head in a bid to appeal to young adults. In addition, it has also launched a new ‘No Onion No Garlic’ noodles.
Nestle India has previously done similar sales to create a buzz for its other flavours.
In a statement, Tony Navin, Senior Vice-President – Partnerships and Strategic Initiatives, Snapdeal said, “Success of the Maggi Hot Heads launch is yet another milestone in our partnership with Nestle. With the aim of catering to a much wider range of consumption needs, we continue to enhance our product assortment along with providing best in class delivery experience”.
Snapdeal said it would conduct the next round of sales in the first week of July. A combination of flavours would be available in packs of six and eight for vegetarian and non-vegetarian flavours. These combos would be priced at Rs 120 and Rs 164 for the vegetarian and non-vegetarian flavours respectively.
The Maggi Hot Heads range will also be launched in retail stores, with the initial launches in Delhi and Mumbai stores.
“Next week onwards, Maggi Cuppa Mania will also be re-launched and would be available exclusively on Snapdeal,” the company said in a statement.
