ESSCO says most of the old furnace systems can be refurbished with this technology

RMD Nayar, a former scientist of CSIR has come up with a new technology which aids in smoke free crematorium furnace system.

During Cremation hazardous emissions are formed which are dangerous and prone to create deadly diseases such as cancer , Asthma, and other diseases in the people who are subjected to this crematorium furnace pollution.

Nayar, Managing Director of ESSCO Furnaces said that one of the needs for such a furnace system like this is due to the fact that existing crematorium furnaces are incorporated with emission treatment systems which are partial and ineffective in most of the cases. "The crematorium nowadays are in thickly populated areas and people nearby any crematorium suffer due to the hazardous and dangerous emission they are forced to inhale. The black sooty smoke along with particles of different sizes fly through the chimney, causing health hazards, besides the stench of burnt flesh" he said.

ESSCO has commercialized this technology and believes that most of the old furnace systems can be refurbished with this technology to help eliminate pollution and no need to rip apart old furnaces. Further, Nayar said that the system is cost effective and its price will be what is offered for the furnace system of old technology.
