The Pune labour court has adjourned the hearing of a petition filed by Bajaj Auto against the workers’ union, accepting the company’s request for time to file its reply to a written statement filed in the court by the opponent.
The next hearing in the case will take place on August 2.
Earlier today, the Bajaj Auto Workers’ Union had filed an application requesting the court to accept its written statement.
In its previous hearing on July 23, labour court judge N.S. Kole had reprimanded the union for failing to file its statement, and given an order that the case would proceed without it.
