Nila Infrastructure net profit jumps 48%

City-based Nila Infrastructure Ltd has posted a standalone net profit of Rs 5.5 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, up 48 per cent against Rs 3.7 crore reported in the same quarter a year ago. The company's total revenues increased by 36 per cent to Rs 56.7 crore from Rs 41.6 crore in the same period last year.

The company's EBIDTA for the quarter under review increased by 20 per cent to Rs 8.8 crore from Rs 7.3 crore in the same quarter last year.

For the first half of the current fiscal, 2016-17, the company's standalone net profit increased by 42 per cent on year-on-year basis to Rs 9.5 crore against Rs 6.7 crore reported in the same period last year. Total revenues increased by 39 per cent to Rs 107.4 crore from Rs 77.5 crore last year.

EBIDTA for the first half increased to Rs 15.7 crore, up 31 per cent on year-on-year basis to Rs 12 crore.

Commenting on the results, Deep Vadodaria, Chief Operating Officer, said, "It is satisfying to note that the growth is coming from all the segments we are present in. All the divisions of the company have shown improved performance. For the year as a whole we are confident to maintain the growth momentum, which the company has witnessed during the past eight quarters, with sustainable profit margins. The current order-book provides a base for the company to graduate to the next orbit of growth."
