Car maker Nissan Motor India today reported 64.25 per cent increase in its sales for September at 3,574 units. The company had witnessed sales of 2,176 units in the corresponding month last year.
Mid-size sedan Sunny and hatchback Micra together contributed the sales increase, it added.
Rest of the sales came from sports utility vehicle X-Trail, premium sedan Teana sedan and sports car, 370Z.
“We are continuing to witness an increasing demand for Sunny and Micra with both models now firmly positioned within their respective segments,” NMIPL Managing Director Ishida Takayuki said.
