Novotel Varun Beach here has won the best new hotel award at the recent Hotel Investment Conference - South Asia in the mid-market segment, according to Mr Prabhu Kishore, Chairman and Managing Director of Varun group.
He was speaking at a press meet here on Thursday. He said earlier the hotel had won the best hotel project awarded by Zee Business.
He said it was a matter of great pride to the hotel management to have won two prestigious awards.
“This hotel accounts for only 5 per cent of the total turnover of Varun group, but it is the most prestigious project of the group,” he said.
More tourists
Mr Mohammed Shoeb, General Manager, said the hotel was attracting more tourists to Visakhapatnam. All the rooms in the hotel faced the Bay of Bengal and there were few such hotels in the country. Ms. Varsha, Director, and Mr Madhav Bellamkonda, Chief Operating Officer of Varun group, also spoke.
