NTPC Ltd's Korba unit will invest Rs 10 crore for setting up an engineering college at Korba in Chattisgarh. This is part of its corporate social responsibility initiative.
A cheque of Rs 1 crore, as a part of this initiative, was handed over to the Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh by NTPC Korba’s General Manager, Mr S K Roy, on Sunday.
NTPC Korba unit has so far provided a total of Rs 9 crore for the institute.
