Imaging company Olympus is aiming to achieve a market share of 10 per cent in digital cameras in the current financial year, a company official said on Tuesday.
“We are targeting a market share of 10 per cent in digital cameras in the current financial year,” Managing Director of Olympus Imaging India Mr Toshio Murai said.
Launching a new range of digital cameras here, Mr Murai said that the market size of digital cameras in the country was three million units. In the digital SLR category, the market size was two lakh units.
He said that Olympus would increase the distribution network of its products across the country.
