ONGC Assam Asset output

After 25 years, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation's Assam Asset has achieved all its production targets in the fiscal year ending March 31, 2011. While gas production remained at 435.38 mmscm against the target of 443.17, its sales target has been overachieved by 107 per cent at 235.16 MMSCM against the 220, the company said. Captive power generation also touched a high with the generation of 81,944 mwh, 19 per cent higher than the estimated figure. Oil gain from the workover of wells also contributed higher than its envisaged share in the production.
