Corporate professionals anticipate a moderate-to-low pay hike during the annual appraisals this year, according to job search portal HeadHonchos.com .

About 46 per cent of the respondents expect increments in the range of six to 15 per cent, said the career portal exclusively meant for senior professionals.

While nearly 19 per cent of the respondents expect salary increments of over 15 per cent this year, about 35 per cent believe that they will not receive increments at all, or that salary increases will be less than 5 per cent in their organisation.

The results are based on a snap poll of over 230 top professionals across sectors. Uday Sodhi, CEO, HeadHonchos.com  said, “Appraisals are a highly anticipated event among professionals.

The focus for most employers continues to be on performance-linked reward and recognition systems, often through compensation packages that have a high variable component.”
