Opto Circuits on Tuesday said its consolidated net profit rose by 67.97 per cent to Rs 111.05 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011.
It was Rs 66.11 crore in the corresponding period previous fiscal, Opto Circuits said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The net sales of the company for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2011 stood at Rs 544.54 crore over Rs 334.46 crore posted in the same period previous fiscal.
For the year ended March 31, 2011 the company posted consolidated net profit of Rs 367.20 crore over Rs 260.07 crore in the previous fiscal.
Net sales of the company stood at Rs 1,585.56 crore for the year ended March 31, 2011 as against Rs 1,077.58 crore in the year ended March 31, 2010.
In a separate filing to the BSE, the company said its Board of Directors in meeting held today have also recommended dividend of Rs 4.50 per share on equity shares of Rs 10 each of the company.
Shares of Opto Circuits (India) today closed at Rs 295.55 on BSE, up 2.44 per cent from the previous close.
