For stronger interaction and engagement among the asset owner community in India, budget hotel chain Oyo Hotels and Homes on Thursday launched the Oyo Partner Engagement Network (OPEN) initiative. This will also ensure better transparency and connection among the asset owners.
It introduced an upgraded version of an app ‘Co-Oyo’ to monitor progress and to provide complete visibility on all business and customer metrics.
“Today, with the launch of OPEN-OYO Partner Engagement Network, we are laying the foundation for a structured way of exchanging ideas, providing support and, most importantly, building a relationship of trust on which we hope to build the next several decades to come,” said Aditya Ghosh, CEO, OYO India and South Asia.
Transparent metrics
He said being in touch on a real-time basis is the key in this fast moving world and therefore for the first time in the hospitality industry, Oyo Hotels and Homes has launched the Co-Oyo app, which will provide transparency in business metrics.
Recently, San Francisco-headquartered home renting company Airbnb had announced an investment of $100-200 million in the Indian start-up.
Oyo Hotels and Homes currently has around 8,700 asset owner-partners spread across nearly 260 cities in India and South Asia. Last month, Oyo Hotels and Homes announced an investment commitment of ₹1,400 crore for the current fiscal in India and South Asia.
