Tata Steel has appointed P. Senthil Kumar as Chief Human Resource Officer.
Mr Kumar will operate from Jamshedpur and report to Tata Steel Managing Director, Mr H.M. Nerurkar, the company said in a statement here today.
Before joining Tata Steel, Mr Kumar was Director (HR & Administration) at Cairn Energy India Pty Ltd.
He is a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from NIT Tiruchi and a PG Diploma in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from XLRI Jamshedpur, the statement added.
