Drug firm Panacea Biotec today reported a net loss of Rs 82.75 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2013.
It had posted a net loss of Rs 119.15 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a filing to the BSE.
Total income from operations of the company rose to Rs 190.36 crore for the quarter under consideration, from Rs 90.95 crore for the same period a year ago.
Net loss of the company stood at Rs 230.13 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2013 as against Rs 207.80 crore for the year-ago period.
The company posted a total income from operations at Rs 595.92 crore for the year ended march 31, 2013. It was Rs 700.58 crore for the previous fiscal year.
Shares of Panacea Biotec today closed at Rs 97.95 per scrip on the BSE, down 0.05 per cent from its previous close.
