Panasonic has set up its first research and development subsidiary at Gurgaon in Haryana. The R&D centre will start its activities in line with Panasonic's plans to make India a hub for the development of products that will contribute to the future Indian market and help realise green innovation for a sustainable society. The Panasonic Research and Development Centre India (PRDCI) established as Panasonic's ninth R&D centre in emerging countries following China and Vietnam and is expected to expand its operational scale in India.
