Panasonic India, the official electronics partner for the Delhi Daredevils, on Monday launched a ‘Cheer-a-thon' campaign.
The company is urging cricket fans to post messages for the Daredevils on a 120-feet-long wall on seed paper ahead of the upcoming IPL.
The drive was launched by the Daredevils' captain Virender Sehwag, along with team members Varun Aaroon and Umesh Yadav.
The ‘Cheer-a-thon', which will run till April 8, is also an attempt to enter the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest seed paper mosaic.
The wall, which can accommodate 21,000 message cards, will depict historical monuments, such as the Red Fort, India Gate and Qutub Minar, once all the messages are placed on it.
