Percept Ltd has floated a global entertainment venture called Percept Live. The company expects to invest Rs 200 crore in the next 2-3 years.
Percept Live will manage the company’s live entertainment business.
“We plan to consolidate existing intellectual properties of the group and plan to launch more in the areas of sports, entertainment and social media,” said Mr Harinder Singh, Vice-Chairperson and Managing Director, Percept Ltd.
Mr Singh said the company will raise about Rs 100 crore through an investor. “ We will raise an additional Rs 100 crore through debt and internal accruals. In fact our long-term plan is to list the venture on the bourses,” he added.
Mr Manuj Agarwal has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer for Percept Live.
Percept has several live entertainment properties which it manages itself or with partners. While the electronic dance music festival Sunburn was launched about five years back, other properties include Fight Night and Champions of the World.
