Petronet LNG will soon assess the option of entering the overseas gas exploration and production segment.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the 16th International Energy Forum, Prabhat Singh, Managing Director and CEO of Petronet LNG, said: “We are going to study the data for a natural gas exploration and production project with ONGC Videsh in Qatar.”
Singh said it is too early to comment on an investment figure. He said the company will look to pick up a stake in an upcoming exploration and liquefied natural gas (LNG) project in Qatar.
