Pidilite Industries’ net profit on a consolidated basis for Q1FY15 grew 3.8 per cent over Q1FY14 at Rs 167.7 crore.
During the same period, the sales grew 19.6 per cent to Rs 1338.1 crore, the company said in an exchange filing.
Cost of raw material as a per centage of net sales grew 272 basis points mainly due to an increase in the cost of vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) caused by global demand supply mismatch.
