Coimbatore, Sept 25 Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd’s board of directors has approved the investment of about Rs 2,255 crore to augment/strengthen the transmission systems in the next three years.
The transmission system associated with Mauda Stage-II (2x660 MW) generation project would be executed at an estimated investment of Rs 1,575.30 crore and the Northern Region System strengthening scheme-XXV would cost Rs 680.69 crore.
