TVS Logistics Services Limited has appointed R. Shankar, as its Chief Executive Officer with effect from January 2013.
According to a press release from TVS Logistics, a third-party logistics service provider, Shankar will be based in Chennai, manage India operations and handle the expansion of business verticals. He is the first CEO of TVS Logistics operations in the country, and will report to S. Ravichandran, Executive Director, TVS Logistics Services Limited.
Shankar brings over 28 years of executive leadership in the automobile and engineering industry and has worked with leading companies including Eicher, Tata Motors and Foton Motors.
