Liquor firm Radico Khaitan has posted a 9.3 per cent increase in net income to ₹18.1 crore during the first quarter of the current fiscal on the back of growth in the prestige and above brands.
Radico Khaitan, which makes Magic Moments vodka and After Dark whisky, reported a drop of 1.6 per cent in net ales to ₹459.7 crore for the quarter, according to a statement from the company. The company’s Managing Director Abhishek Khaitan in a statement said despite flat revenues, healthy growth in net income reflected improved margins and cash flow generation. He said prestige and above brands grew 8.7 per cent year-on-year in volume terms.
