Swiss watchmaker Rado, a part of the world’s largest watch conglomerate The Swatch Group, today unveiled its luxury jewellery collection at the Rado boutique in Banjara Hills here.
The range features beautiful diamond studded watches. The Rado jewellery collection brings together an exclusive selection of the brand’s most celebrated products. These include full high-tech ceramic watch, Rado Sintra, the iconic Rado Ceramica and the classic linear perfection of Rado Integral.
The Swiss watch brand has been a pioneer in the use of innovative materials such as hard metal, high-tech ceramic, lanthanum and ceramos. It also features convex, dome-shaped sapphire crystals, affording innovative watch designs and shapes. The jewellery range is priced from Rs 30,000 to Rs 40 lakh.
Rado has 14 operational boutiques, six of them in the southern part of the country. It is now the second largest in terms of volumes after Omega in the Indian luxury watch market estimated to be worth about Rs 4,000 crore, according to Mr Manoj Kumar Nair, Sales Manager, Rado India.
It is growing at about 35 per cent per annum.
Mr Anith R.L. Reddy, promoter of F1 Time Machine, said Rado has emerged as one of the most aspirational watch brands in the country. The jewellery range would add to that excitement.
