Rajesh Exports today said the company has secured a Rs 653-crore export order for gold and diamond studded jewellery from Singapore.
The order is to be completed by September 30 this year, Rajesh Exports said in a regulatory filing.
Its order book position as on March 31 this year was Rs 34,560 crore, it added.
“Rajesh Exports has bagged an export order worth Rs 653 crore for a designer range of gold and diamond studded jewellery and medallions from Singapore,” the jewellery firm said.
The order will be executed at the company’s manufacturing facility at Bengaluru, which has an installed capacity to process 250 tonnes of jewellery per annum.
With the acquisition of Valcambi, the world’s largest gold refinery in Switzerland, Rajesh Exports has the capacity to refine 2,400 tonnes of precious metal per annum.
The company also has a presence in the retail segment with 80 showrooms that sell jewellery products under the brand name Shubh Jewellers.
