Jewellery exporter and retailer Rajesh Exports posted a 63 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 407.1 crore during 2011-12. Revenues went up 23 per cent to Rs 25,724 crore. The company, which retails jewellery under the brand name Shubh, will open 40 more showrooms in Karnataka within the next two quarters, according to a press statement. The company, which now has 80 outlets, plans to open 500 showrooms across India by 2014. Rajesh Exports' order book is at present at Rs 4672.crore, and the company expects the orders to be completed by end of June this year.
