Rajesh Exports Ltd profits are 14.55 per cent higher to Rs 131.4 crore on standalone basis for the third quarter this fiscal (2012-13). The company’s revenues were also 20.01 per cent higher to Rs 7,823.1 crore compared with same period last year. EPS stood at Rs 4.45 against Rs 3.89 recorded last year. The total order book as on December 31, 2012, is at Rs 6,762.4 crore. The company posted record retails sales during the festival season at its Shubh Jewellers showrooms, wherein the company introduced new range of designs to the retail customers. Commenting on the performance, Rajesh Mehta, Chairman, said: “In spite of the tough conditions in the exports markets, we have done better. Our retail initiatives in India have been growing at a steady pace.”
