Rallis India a subsidiary of Tata Chemicals, has appointed Sanjiv Lal as Managing Director & CEO for five years from April 1, subject to shareholders approval.
R Mukundan, currently the Managing Director & CEO will relinquish his role and continue as non-Executive Director on the Board.
Sanjiv Lal is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Tata Chemicals. A chemical engineer from lIT-Delhi, he has over 35 years experience across Hindustan Lever and Tata Chemicals.
Bhaskar Bhat, Chairman, Rallis said Sanjeev brings a depth of manufacturing and operational experience, business expertise and knowledge of process chemistry - all of which would be useful in Rallis' future journey.
