Life's come a full circle for Mr Ramesh Ramanathan, who recently quit Mahindra Holidays & Resorts as its Managing Director. Mr Ramanathan, who was President of Sterling Holiday Resorts in 1991-95, today rejoined as its Managing Director.
Mr Ramanathan said his new assignment was a challenge in that the Sterling Resorts brand had to be rebuilt, as its huge debts weighed the company down and it was unable to refurbish its resorts. Sterling Holiday Resorts is now in the midst of doing-up its resorts. It has 14 resorts in 12 holiday destinations with over 1,200 rooms and cottages.
