Auto component firm Rane Engine Valves reported a net loss of ₹2.59 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2016, when compared with a net profit of ₹15.09 crore, boosted by an exceptional income of ₹27.54 crore, in the year-ago period.
Net sales stood at ₹90.70 crore against ₹84.94 crore, on the back of strong orders in some passenger car and two-wheeler segments.
The company reported EBITDA of ₹ 6.42 crore for the quarter against ₹3.82 crore.
“The revival of operational performance is under way at Rane Engine Valves and the Q1 result reflects it,” L Ganesh, Chairman, said in a statement.
