Rane Holdings' second quarter net profit dipped 58 per cent to Rs 13.47 crore, from Rs 32.32 crore in the corresponding quarter the previous year. Net sales for the quarter rose 12.6 per cent to Rs 465.98 crore.

Mr L. Ganesh, Chairman, Rane group, said that he was a little concerned about the passenger car market and hoped there would no further slowdown.

Rane Holdings' share on Monday fell 0.54 per cent to Rs 202.50 on the BSE.
