Reliance Cement, a subsidiary of Reliance Infrastructure, has made a foray into the Amravati market in Maharashtra. The company launched Reliance Cement in Nagpur in September last year.
It sells Portland Pozzollona Cement manufactured at its Butibori plant in Maharashtra. The company has created a channel network to service the retail customers of Amravati.
Arvind Pathak, CEO, said even as the Vidarbha region is considered a key market, the company will soon enter Wardha, Chandrapur and Bhandara.
“All our business processes like manufacturing, sales and distribution and customer service are fully automated and geared to meet the expectations of the NextGen consumers,” he said.
Reliance Cement is now executing two integrated projects with a total capacity of 10 mt in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra with connected satellite grinding plants. Pegged at five mt each, these two projects will set the foundation for upcoming projects thereon.
