Reliance Infrastructure reported a marginal rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 411.97 crore for the first quarter ended June 30.
The company had reported a net profit of Rs 405.39 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
However, the standalone net profit was down 24 per cent at Rs 327.02 crore for the reported quarter as compared to Rs 430.49 crore in the same period last year, the company said in a filing to the BSE.
The consolidated revenues for the first quarter of 2012-13 stood at Rs 5,383.08 crore as compared to Rs 5,175.85 crore in the same period last year.
In the distribution business, the company added 22,000 customers in Mumbai taking the total customer base to 28 lakh, while in Delhi, it added 34,000 users taking the base to 29 lakh, the filing said.
Reliance Infrastructure generated 1,450 million units of power in Q1 FY 13, it added.
During the quarter, two projects totalling 200 km commenced operations, the filing said.
The net worth of the company on consolidated basis stood at Rs 24,650 crore at the end of June 30.
Shares of the company today closed higher by 1.53 per cent at Rs 528.95.
