Reliance Digital, the electronics arm of Reliance Retail, sees the digital sector to be one of the major growth drivers in the coming years. The company has launched a technology-oriented service called ResQ at its Digital Xpress outlets. The Digital Xpress format was launched last year to provide technology-based solutions to consumers.

The stores will have ResQ experts who will offer guidance to customers, demonstrate a solution and help them with installation and networking of their devices. Users can upgrade their mobile phones at Digital Xpress and walk out of the store with a ready-to-use new phone.

The Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Retail, which is betting big on the consumer durables, IT and telecom market, has a total of 139 digital stores and plans to add another 46 during the year.

CEO Reliance Digital Brian Bade said, “At Digital Xpress we provide a range of services that ensure users experience peak performance of their latest gadgets.” The Digital Xpress stores house the latest gadgets including smart phones, ultra books, HD speakers, music players, smart TVs, among other items.
