Renault India has introduced a petrol variant of the premium hatchback – the Pulse. Renault India had launched the PULSE during the Delhi Auto Expo in January in two trim levels powered by the 1.5 litre, K9K diesel engine.
Priced between Rs 4.25 to 5.55 lakh, the petrol Pulse sports a 1.2 litre, 3 cylinder engine that puts out 76 PS of power and delivers a fuel efficiency of 18.06 kmpl.
“The new PULSE petrol is a product launched for our Indian customers who are looking for a comfortable premium hatch with a competitive price tag,” said Mr Marc NASSIF, Managing Director, Renault India.
Designed at Renault’s studio in Mumbai and manufactured alongside the Micra at the Nissan-Renault alliance near Chennai, the petrol Pulse is available in the three variants. In terms of features, it sports dual front airbags, anti-lock brakes, an illuminated engine start/stop button and automatic climate control.
Renault also offers a Complete Care package, which offers 2+2 year/80,000 km warranty along with other benefits like Concierge services, 24X7 roadside assistance and navigation assistance.
