Renewable Energy India Expo, 2013, which is one of Asia’s leading annual congregations of the renewable energy industry, is to be held between September 12 and 14 at Greater Noida, near New Delhi.
REI Expo is the seventh in edition of the annual event. Japan has accepted to be the partner-country for the event. Officials of Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) and New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organisation (NEDO) will be present at the event.
The Japan pavilion will feature the world’s premium companies such as Sony Energy Devices Corporation, Toshiba, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Hitachi India and Kawasaki Heavy Industries, says a press release from the organisers.
This expo is expected to attract 550 exhibitors and 12,000 trade visitors. Alongside the exhibition, there will be conferences on various issues related to the renewable energy industry. Further, the event will see workshops organised by Asian Development Bank, BASF, Sterling & Wilson and KPMG, the release says.
