RINL achieves Rs 3,800 cr turnover

Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (Visakhapatnam Steel Plant) has achieved sales turnover of Rs 3,800 crore during the four months till the end of July in the current financial year, according to a press release. The company achieved hot metal production of 12.85 lakh tonnes in the first four months with a growth of three per cent. Liquid steel production of 10.62 lt, BF coke production of 7.41 lt and captive power generation of 217 MW were achieved. By-product sales fetched Rs 200 crore, the best-ever for the period from April to July.
