The Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd - Visakhapatnam steel plant and the National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) entered into an MoU at the corporate office of the NMDC , Hyderabad, on Tuesday, according to a press release.
The MoU was signed by GBS Prasad, the Director (Personnel) of RINL, and Sandeep Tula, the Executive Director (Personnel and Admn) of the NMDC in the presence of senior executives from both the organisations.
The MoU will facilitate the newly-recruited employees of Nagarnar Steel Plant (NSP), a 3 m.t. Integrated steel plant being set up at Nagarnar in Chhattisgarh by NMDC, to be trained in Visakhapatnam steel plant.
Executive trainees of the NMDC will benefit from the process of knowledge transfer, skill development, quality training and experience in all the major units of the successfully run VSP.
