State-owned Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL) today said sales in 2013-14 grew by eight per cent over the previous fiscal though turnover remained flat.
“RINL registered an eight per cent growth in sales with a volume of 3.035 million tonnes (m.t),” the Vizag-based steel maker said in a statement.
Exports grew by 25 per cent over the previous fiscal.
“The company’s turnover of Rs 13,527 crore in FY’2014 is at the same level as that of the previous fiscal,” Rashtriya Ispat Nigam (RINL) said, adding revenue from exports was at Rs 750 crore during 2103-14.
Lower realisations have weighed on though sales increased.
