The Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (the Visakhapatnam steel plant) on Friday entered into a memorandum of understanding with ABB India Ltd to conduct training programmes to RINL employees in automation, process control automation and related areas, according to a press release.
The MoU was signed by A Radhakrishna, GM (Training & HRD) RINL, and Vemuri Madhav, the country’s service manager of ABB India Ltd.
The RINL has adopted the state-of-the-art technologies in the areas of automation. ABB India Ltd is having advanced technologies in the field and is also a global leader in power and automation technology and it has supplied major equipments to the RINL in the expansion project.
