The first despatch of 7 mm plain coils from the newly commissioned wire rod mill-2 was flagged off on Friday at the Visakhapatnam steel plant. The most modern and sophisticated WRM-2 was built at a cost of around ₹900 crore as part of the expansion project, according to a press release.
