Home-grown connected vehicle solutions provider Rollr has launched Rollr Mini — a plug-and-play device that sends Live tracking, alerts and car health updates priced at ₹6,499.

It will be available through Amazon and Flipkart and the user can download Rollr App from Play Store and App Store to use the app.

Rollr is a part of auto components giant Samvardhana Motherson Group (SMG), via its subsidiary Motherson Invenzen XLab Pvt Ltd and with this launch, SMG has entered into business-to-consumer (B2C) category from business-to-business (B2B) platform earlier.

Commenting on the launch, Laksh Vaaman Sehgal, Vice-Chairman, SMG said, “We believe that Rollr will bring the much-needed ease-of-use and ease-of-ownership to people buying passenger vehicles across categories. In the B2B space, we are confident that large and enterprise fleet owners will derive significant benefits with Rollr’s superior and advanced technology.”

Rollr devices have been tested with over 100+ vehicles under extreme performance conditions and are designed to provide connected car solutions to passenger and commercial vehicles, the company said.

Maps and navigation solutions provider MapmyIndia also sell similar products in partnerships with various telecom operators and car manufacturers such as Maruti Suzuki India, Hyundai Motor India and Honda Cars India also have similar apps to provide updates on health of the vehicles.

Rollr will be displaying more of such devices at the Auto Expo.
