IT firm Rolta India has redeemed its outstanding Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs), aggregating $134.7 million (about Rs 765.40 crore).
This includes a redemption premium of $38 million on the due date and after this, there are no FCCBs outstanding, Rolta said in a statement today.
The company has made the payment today to Principal Agent of FCCBs — Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch.
“We are very pleased to announce payment in full to clear outstanding FCCBs before the maturity date. This underlines the confidence of the financial community/banks in our company and its strong business model amid uncertain times and volatile foreign exchange environment,” Rolta India Chairman and Managing Director, Mr K K Singh said
